Stream

Streams are created within a project to allow users to work on content simultaneously in isolated environments within views. Code changes are integrated from one stream to another analogously to branches in base ClearCase. A stream also allows for development of several simultaneous releases of a product to take place.

Famous quotes containing the word stream:

    Once you get into this great stream of history you can’t get out. You can drown. Or you can be pulled ashore by the tide. But it is awfully hard to get out when you are in the middle of the stream—if it is intended that you stay there.
    Richard M. Nixon (1913–1995)

    Man is in part divine,
    A troubled stream from a pure source;
    And Man in portions can foresee
    His own funereal destiny;
    George Gordon Noel Byron (1788–1824)

    Ask me no more: thy fate and mine are sealed;
    I strove against the stream and all in vain;
    Let the great river take me to the main.
    No more, dear love, for at a touch I yield;
    Ask me no more.
    Alfred Tennyson (1809–1892)
