I Care 4 U (song)

"I Care 4 U" is a song by American R&B recording artist Aaliyah. It was written by Missy Elliott and producer Timbaland. The song was originally recorded by Aaliyah for her 1996 album One in a Million, but scrapped after that album's completion.

"I Care 4 U", a romantic R&B ballad, was first featured on Aaliyah's self-titled third album in 2001. As a non-single album track, it charted for 20 weeks and reached number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2002. The song was released as a radio single in 2003 in promotion of Aaliyah's posthumuous compilation album I Care 4 U (2002).

Famous quotes containing the word care:

General McLaidlaw: Lena will never marry. She’s not the marrying sort. I see no reason to worry. There’s enough to care for her for the rest of her life.
Mrs. McLaidlaw: I suppose you’re right, dear. I’m afraid she is rather spinsterish.
General McLaidlaw: What’s wrong with that. The old maid’s a respectable institution. All women are not alike. Lena has intellect and a fine solid character.
    Samson Raphaelson (1896–1983)
