3.3 L
The 3.3 L G6DB version was introduced with the 2006 Sonata. It produces 237–264 hp (177–197 kW; 240–268 PS) at 6,000 rpm and 230 lb·ft (312 N·m) of torque at 3,500 rpm depending on application.
The G6DB has an aluminum block and heads, variable valve timing on the intake side, and 4 valves per cylinder. Bore and stroke measure 92 x 83.8 mm (3.6 x 3.3 in) for a total displacement of 3342 cc.
The 3.3 L G6DH version was introduced with the 2012 Azera. It offers GDI and dual CVVT. The engine produces 294 hp (219 kW; 298 PS) at 6,400 rpm and 255 lb·ft (346 N·m) of torque at 5,200 rpm. The MPI version of this engine which was introduced with the 2009 Genesis in some markets. The engine produces 262 hp (195 kW; 266 PS) at 6,200 rpm and 233 lb·ft (316 N·m) of torque at 4,500 rpm in the Genesis and 270 hp (201 kW; 274 PS) at 6,400 rpm and 235 lb·ft (319 N·m) of torque at 5,300 rpm in the 2013 Santa Fe.
