Hypocrisy Is The Greatest Luxury

Hypocrisy Is the Greatest Luxury is the debut album by alternative hip hop crew The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy, released in 1992 (see 1992 in music). Hypocrisy Is the Greatest Luxury found some critical acclaim, although the album leaned away from the then-rising G-Funk that came to be the dominant sub-genre within west coast hip hop.

“Television, the Drug of the Nation” was released as a single. It was recorded previously by Michael Franti's first band, the Beatnigs.

Famous quotes containing the word greatest:

What’s the greatest enemy of Christianity to-day? Frozen meat. In the past only members of the upper classes were thoroughly sceptical, despairing, negative. Why? Among other reasons, because they were the only people who could afford to eat too much meat. Now there’s cheap Canterbury lamb and Argentine chilled beef. Even the poor can afford to poison themselves into complete scepticism and despair.
    Aldous Huxley (1894–1963)
