As HES affects many organs at the same time, symptoms may be numerous. Some possible symptoms a patient may present with include:

- Skin lesions
- Thromboembolic disease
- Pulmonary disease
- Neuropathy
- Hepatosplenomegaly
- Reduced ventricular size
