Hurst/Bell Station is a Trinity Railway Express commuter rail station located in Hurst, Texas on Bell Spur Drive at Trinity Boulevard (between Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas). It opened on September 16, 2000, and is a station on the TRE commuter line, serving the city of Hurst, Texas and the main plant of Bell Helicopter Textron (which is physically located in Fort Worth, across the street from the station).
It is also the closest station to Arlington, Texas at about 7.4 miles (11.9 km) from the city's geographic center, and the only TRE station not located in a member city of either Dallas Area Rapid Transit or Fort Worth Transportation Authority (Hurst is not a member city in either rapid transit agency).
Famous quotes containing the word hurst:
“Crushed to earth and rising again is an authors gymnastic. Once he fails to struggle to his feet and grab his pen, he will contemplate a fact he should never permit himself to face: that in all probability books have been written, are being written, will be written, better than anything he has done, is doing, or will do.”
