Hurricane Celia - Aftermath

Aftermath

Following the storm, then-President of the United States Richard Nixon declared eleven counties in Texas as disaster areas, allowing affected residents to be eligible for federal relief. Today, the pool covers all coastal counties of Texas and even some inland counties, including parts of Harris County near Houston, Texas.
