Huang Mei Gui Oolong tea (Chinese: 黃玫瑰; pinyin: huáng méiguī; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: n̂g-môe-kùi) is a very new Wuyi Oolong tea, developed circa 2002. It has a highly aromatic fragrance and a lighter floral taste than most other Wuyi Oolongs.
The colour of the steeped leaves is a very light green, much greener than other Wuyi teas.
Famous quotes containing the word tea:
“They were right. The Soviet régime is not the embodiment of evil as you think in the West. They have laws and I broke them. I hate tea and they love tea. Who is wrong?”
—Alexander Zinoviev (b. 1922)
