Savage Flux HP
In 2009 HPI released the first electric variant of the Savage monster truck, the Savage Flux HP. The Savage Flux HP offers an easy plug-and-go alternative to the Nitro versions of the Savage. The addition of two matching battery packs is all that is needed to get the Savage Flux HP up and running and there is no break-in procedure required, unlike the nitro-powered Savages.
The Savage Flux HP is capable of speeds up to 62 mph with the standard brushless motor.
The HPI Savage Flux HP is a monster of a monster truck. It is driven by a powerful Flux Tork 2200 brushless motor with very individual machined cooling fins. This motor is matched to a powerful Flux Blur speed controller that can handle two 6S Lithium Polymer batteries. This truck is built to handle the powerful motor with machined heavy duty differential gears heavy duty drive shafts and all metal gear gearbox. Big bore shock absorbers and a high torque steering servo and large all terrain tyres make handling very sure footed. This truck is built to last and it will perform standing or rolling backflips with just a touch of the throttle.
