Famous quotes containing the words howth and/or head:

    Maud Gonne at Howth station waiting a train,
    Pallas Athena in that straight back and arrogant head:
    All the Olympians; a thing never known again.

    She, her head back, waited
    Barbarous the stalking tide;
    Her, nor balked nor sated
    But plunged into the wide
    Area of mental ire,
    Lay at her wandering side.
