Arc Significance
- O'Brien infiltrates the Orion Syndicate (cf. "The Ascent", "A Simple Investigation"). He befriends a prominent member and family man named Liam Bilby, who is later killed by Starfleet.
- Liam Bilby's wife, Morika, is mentioned for the first time here; though she never appears on screen, she will later have a prominent role in another episode that concludes the Orion Syndicate arc.
