Homewood Suites By Hilton - Lewis The Duck

Lewis The Duck

Lewis the Duck is the mascot of Homewood Suites. He is a cartoon characterization of a duck that appears in the brand’s logo and is the central character in Homewood Suites’ children’s book series. Lewis’ signature dress item is a striped red tie.

Lewis the Duck and his family, Lois (wife), Lance (son) and Lisa (daughter), made in appearance in the 2010 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in the “On the Roll Again” float, a series of wooden pull toys. Homewood Suites was the first hotel brand to be featured in the parade’s history and the Lewis the Duck float will remain in the parade through 2012.

Famous quotes containing the words lewis and/or duck:

If kangaroos had no tails, they would topple over seems to me to mean something like this: in any possible state of affairs in which kangaroos have no tails, and which resembles our actual state of affairs as much as kangaroos having no tails permits it to, the kangaroos topple over.
    —David Lewis (b. 1941)

Alice: I put swimsuits in boxes six days a week.
George: Yeah. What about Sunday? Maybe then you put yourself in a swimsuit.
    Alice: Oh, not me.
George: Why? You don’t look good in a swimsuit?
    Alice: Sure I do. I can’t swim.
    George: You’re kidding.
Alice: I never learned. I was even scared of the duck pond when I was a kid.
    Michael Wilson (1914–1978)
