Athletics
Holy Cross College teams, nicknamed athletically as the Saints, are part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily competing in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC). Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse and soccer; while women's sports include basketball, cheerleading, cross country, golf and soccer.
The HCC men's ice hockey team competes at the Division III level of the American Collegiate Hockey Association while the HCC men's lacrosse team competes in the Great Lakes Lacrosse League. HCC completed a new recreation center, called the Pfeil Center, in October 2008.
