"Hoedown Throwdown" is a song performed by American recording artist Miley Cyrus, combining elements of country, dance and pop, It was released as a single from the soundtrack for Hannah Montana: The Movie. "Hoedown Throwdown" was sent to Radio Disney on February 13, 2009 and was then released via iTunes Store on March 10, 2009 as a Radio Disney exclusive that had an interview as a B-side. A karaoke version is available in the soundtrack's karaoke series. "Hoedown Throwdown" is an instructional dance song with country, pop, R&B, and hip-hop influences and dance steps. The choreography was designed by Jamal Sims and incorporates line dance influences.
