Hobart Rangers

Hobart Rangers Soccer club was a short lived soccer team which was formed out of the old Hydro SC team, that played in Division 2 South from 1954 until 1957. The Hydro team was re-branded as "Hobart Rangers" for the 1958 season, but only lasted for nine seasons due to lack of support. The Rangers did however manage to win both the State Championship and Southern Premiership in 1962.

At the end of the 1967 season, the Hobart Rangers merged with Caledonians.
