Famous quotes containing the words hitting and/or time:

The fall into the abyss of deconstruction inspires us with as much pleasure as fear. We are intoxicated with the prospect of never hitting bottom.
    Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak (b. 1942)

Less approval for accomplishments. . . . No wonder children struggle so fiercely to be first or best. No wonder they mobilize all their energy to have more or most. Or better still, all.
    Adele Faber (20th century)
