Famous quotes containing the words windows and/or home:

All day long the machine waits: rooms,
    stairs, carpets, furniture, people
those people who stand at the open windows like objects
    waiting to topple.
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)

Families, however, have absorbed all the stress and strain they possibly can. The entire responsibility for accommodation is taking place on the home side of the equation.
    Deborah J. Swiss (20th century)
