History (Junior Cert)
The Study of History for the Junior Certificate Examination in Ireland can be examined in Higher Level or Ordinary Level.
This subject is not mandatory on a national scale, however it is generally mandatory within schools. Like most subjects more students choose to do higher level when studying history.
