Hippocampus Press

Hippocampus Press is an American publisher of fantasy, horror and science fiction, and specializes in reprints or first editions of work by authors such as H. P. Lovecraft and Clark Ashton Smith. One of its major projects is the 5-volume set of Lovecraft's Collected Essays. It has also published fiction by Lord Dunsany (The Pleasures of a Futuroscope) and Algernon Blackwood (Incredible Adventures), as well as the "Lovecraft's Library" series of books which Lovecraft enjoyed or was influenced by, but which have fallen out of fashion since his time.

Hippocampus Press has also published poetry by authors such as Smith, George Sterling, Samuel Loveman, W. H. Pugmire, and others, and critical work by S. T. Joshi.

The firm also publishes the journals Dead Reckonings and Lovecraft Annual.
