Hikari Ōta's If I Were Prime Minister of Japan... Secretary Tanaka (太田光の私が総理大臣になったら…秘書田中。, Ōta Hikari no Watashi ga Sōridaijin ni Nattara... Hisho Tanaka?) is a regular debate variety show broadcast on Japan's Nippon TV. The show, starring the owarai duo Bakushō Mondai started out as a special presentation on October 15, 2005, and has been broadcast during prime-time on Fridays since April 7, 2006. Due to the extremely long title, the show is usually referred to as Prime Minister Ōta (太田総理, Ōta Sōri?).

Famous quotes containing the words prime, minister and/or secretary:

I did not know I was in my prime until afterwards.
    Mason Cooley (b. 1927)

He had a gentleman-like frankness in his behaviour, and as a great point of honour as a minister can have, especially a minister at the head of the treasury, where numberless sturdy and insatiable beggars of condition apply, who cannot all be gratified, nor all with safety be refused.
Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl Chesterfield (1694–1773)

... the wife of an executive would be a better wife had she been a secretary first. As a secretary, you learn to adjust to the boss’s moods. Many marriages would be happier if the wife would do that.
Anne Bogan, U.S. executive secretary. As quoted in Working, book 1, by Studs Terkel (1973)
