Hideyuki Hirayama (平山秀幸, Hirayama Hideyuki?, born September 18, 1950 in Kitakyushu) is a Japanese film director. He won the Directors Guild of Japan New Directors Award for The Games Teachers Play in 1992. He was given a Best Director award at the 2003 Yokohama Film Festival. He won the 1999 Japan Academy Prize for Director of the Year for Begging for Love.
