Henry Stevens (GC)

Henry William Stevens GC was born 24 January 1928 in Upton Park. Stevens was awarded the George Cross for the gallantry he showed while serving as a Constable in the Metropolitan Police Force on the 29th of March, 1958.

Prior to joining the Metropolitan Police Force, Stevens served 3 years in the Royal Navy.
