By his wife Margaret, daughter of Sir Thomas Foot, alderman, of London, Rolle had issue an only son, Francis, who was knighted at Portsmouth on 1 March 1664-5 and was lord of the manor of East Titherley, Hampshire, which he represented in the parliament of 1681.
