Haverford Station is an above-ground commuter rail station located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia at Haverford Station Road in Haverford, Pennsylvania. It is served by most Paoli/Thorndale Line trains with the exception of a few express runs.
Originally called Haverford College Station, the station house on the north side of the grade was built in 1880 (although some sources claim the origins to be roughly around 1870) by the Wilson Brothers architectural firm for the Pennsylvania Railroad, and is one of the historic station buildings on this line built before 1930.
The ticket office at this station is open weekdays 6:05 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. excluding holidays. There are 50 parking spaces at the station. This station is 9.1 track miles from Suburban Station. In 2003, the average total weekday boardings at this station were 352.
