Honours and Awards
Kroto was made a Knight Bachelor in the 1996 New Year's Honours list.
Kroto is a member of the Advisory Council for the Campaign for Science and Engineering, as well as of the Board of Scientific Governors at The Scripps Research Institute. He was awarded an honorary doctorate from Tel Aviv University in 2011.
