Academics

In terms of Advanced Placement (AP) courses, the school offers Music Theory, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Art Studio, U.S. History, Government and Politics, English Language, English Literature, Psychology, and Environmental Science. The school also offers one of the two courses in AP English and AP Calculus. For the 2012-2013 school year, Jacobs plans to offer an AP Computer Programming class in addition to those above.

While there are no AP courses offered in foreign languages, students may take a fourth or fifth year of study in Spanish, French, or German and may opt to take the appropriate AP test.
