Combined Statistical Area
The Harrisburg–Carlisle–Lebanon Combined Statistical Area (CSA) is made up of four counties. The statistical area includes two metropolitan areas. As of the 2000 Census, the CSA had a population of 629,401 (though a July 1, 2009 estimate placed the population at 667,425). In 2009, Harrisburg–Carlisle–Lebanon was the 55th largest Combined Statistical Area in the United States.
