Harold Washington College

Harold Washington College is a community college within the City Colleges of Chicago system of Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is located in the Loop at 30 E Lake St. Founded in 1962 as Loop College, the college was renamed for the first African American mayor of Chicago, Harold Washington, after his death in 1987.
