Voice Actor
Don Messick voiced Hamton through the show's run which was his last major role. He retired in 1996 and died on October 24 1997 of a stroke. After him Billy West took over the role (who's also the new voice for another Messick character: Muttley) and voiced Hamton in the Kids' WB promos and the video games Toonenstein: Dare to Scare and Defenders of the Looniverse.
Hamton is also known for being the best basketball player in Tiny Toon Adventures Acme All-Stars video game on Sega Genesis.

Famous quotes containing the words voice and/or actor:
“Sing unto the Lordwith the harp, with the harp, and the voice of a
psalm.
With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord,”
—Bible: Hebrew Psalm XCVIII (l. XCVIII, 5–6)
“A personality is an indefinite quantum of traits which is subject to constant flux, change, and growth from the birth of the individual in the world to his death. A character, on the other hand, is a fixed and definite quantum of traits which, though it may be interpreted with slight differences from age to age and actor to actor, is nevertheless in its essentials forever fixed.”
—Hubert C. Heffner (1901–1985)
