Presumed Observations From Space
- Any observations of Halley's Comet made by the crew of Soyuz T-15, which made the first trip to the Mir space station in March 1986, are unknown.
- Observations of Halley's Comet would have also been made by crews on-board Space Shuttle Challenger during missions STS-51-L and STS-61-E. STS-61-E was to carry the ASTRO-1 astronomy platform in its payload bay, but was cancelled after Challenger was destroyed in a launch accident at the beginning of STS-51-L.

Famous quotes containing the words presumed, observations and/or space:
“The particular source of frustration of women observing their own self-study and measuring their worth as women by the distance they kept from men necessitated that a distance be kept, and so what vindicated them also poured fuel on the furnace of their rage. One delight presumed another dissatisfaction, but their hatefulness confessed to their own lack of power to please. They hated men because they needed husbands, and they loathed the men they chased away for going.”
—Alexander Theroux (b. 1940)
“By sharing the information and observations with the caregiver, you have a chance to see your child through another pair of eyes. Because she has some distance and objectivity, a caregiver often sees things that a parents total involvement with her child doesnt allow.”
—Amy Laura Dombro (20th century)
“It is the space inside that gives the drum its sound.”
—Hawaiian saying no. 1189, lelo NoEau, collected, translated, and annotated by Mary Kawena Pukui, Bishop Museum Press, Hawaii (1983)
