The Haitian people (Haitian: Ayisyen) are a nation and ethnic group, mix of different ethnic groups from West Central region of Africa, native to the country of Haiti, in the west of the island of Hispaniola. Their language is Haitian Creole, (kreyòl ayisyen), which is a dialect of the French Language.
