Haggis McLeod is a juggler who has performed for years as half of the comedy street show duo Haggis and Charlie.
He was born Ian McLeod, son of Harold Leonard Hodges. He specialises in solo club juggling, club passing and hat juggling. He has trained with some of the very best jugglers in the world including Laos, Georgian and Moscow State Circuses, performed in America, Australia, Asia and Europe. He has also published videos and books teaching the art of juggling.
He is now a member of the teaching staff of Circomedia, the School of Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre in Bristol, England. He has recently worked in Sydney, the catwalks of Milan and the European Juggling Convention in Rotterdam, Holland.
From 1987 until her death on 20 December 2007, he was married to Arabella Churchill, the granddaughter of Winston Churchill. Their daughter, Jessica Jules McLeod, was born in 1988. They lived on the outskirts of Glastonbury in Somerset.
