2012 Olympics
Hackney Wick station is a key transport point for the 2012 Summer Olympics as it is situated 100m from the western periphery of the Olympic Park. However, due to potential overcrowding, TfL have announced that westbound trains will not stop at this station for the duration of the Games.
Hackney Wick is one of four a stations located around the park, along with Stratford station, Stratford International and Pudding Mill Lane DLR station (closed during the Olympics).
