The Station Today
Nowadays the station serves the villages of Lower Street, Thorpe Market and Southrepps. The station is served by local services operated by Greater Anglia. Gunton station is un-staffed, and consists of a single platform with a simple 'bus type' shelter for passenger use. Originally the location of a passing loop, the northbound platform and station buildings are no longer in the ownership of the railway. Instead they are owned by the Lord of Thorpe Market, Stanley Hurn. There is an unrestricted car park at the station that holds about ten vehicles.
