There are simple tests that your doctor can so that can test to see if you have Gunther’s Disease. One test is performing the knee jerk test to see if your deep tendon reflexes are working properly. If they are not working normally then there is a possibility you have the disease. Another test is to listening to the patient’s heart rate. If the heart rate is faster than normal it is a sign of Gunther’s disease. Other tests include blood gases, comprehensive metabolic panel, ultrasounds, and urinalysis.
