Guna Revolution

Guna Revolution refers to the events in 1925, in which the Indians fought gunas to the Panamanian authorities, which forced the Indians to westernize its culture by force. In this revolution was proclaimed the Republic of Tule, short-lived. When re-united with Panama, the gunas with the support of the Panamanian government, created an autonomous territory called Guna district of Yala indigenous and ensuring security of the population and culture Guna.
