The Greater Metropolitan Area of Coimbra (Portuguese:Grande Área Metropolitana de Coimbra) is an administrative division in Portugal. It has 16 municipalities (largest to smallest in number of inhabitants): Coimbra, Figueira da Foz, Cantanhede, Montemor-o-Velho, Soure, Mealhada, Penacova, Lousã, Condeixa-a-Nova, Miranda do Corvo, Mira, Tábua, Mortágua, Vila Nova de Poiares, Penela and Góis.
