Silent Age Records
Talbot is also involved with Guy Bartell in their self-described 'Victorian Clockworktronica' ensemble, Bronnt Industries Kapital. In 2000 the pair set up Silent Age Records, a co-operative label which helped gain exposure for their own music as well as artists SJ Esau (now signed to Anticon), War Against Sleep (Fire Records), Mole Harness (Stray Dog Army), and Exercise One.
Talbot keeps a weblog entitled "The Police Diver's Notebook."

Famous quotes containing the words silent, age and/or records:
“Not everyone knows how to be silent or to leave in good time. It happens that even people of good breeding fail to notice that their presence provokes in the weary or preoccupied host a feeling akin to hatred, and that this feeling is tensely concealed and covered up with lies.”
—Anton Pavlovich Chekhov (18601904)
“At this age [912], in contrast to adolescence, girls still want to know their parents and hear what they think. You are the influential ones if you want to be. Girls, now, want to hear your point of view and find out how you got to be what you are and what you are doing. They like their fathers and mothers to be interested in what theyre doing and planning. They like to know what you think of their thoughts.”
—Stella Chess (20th century)
“Philosophy, astronomy, and politics were marked at zero, I remember. Botany variable, geology profound as regards the mud stains from any region within fifty miles of town, chemistry eccentric, anatomy unsystematic, sensational literature and crime records unique, violin player, boxer, swordsman, lawyer, and self-poisoner by cocaine and tobacco.”
—Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (18591930)
