Community Life
Grace Bible College is a small, close-knit community with relationships fostered by "Ministry Labs," twice-weekly chapel services, and small groups that meet within the dorms. They have a strict no-tolerance policy towards illegal drugs, alcohol, and sexual promiscuity. Students who wish to attend must sign a covenant saying they will not indulge in such behaviors. Counseling is provided for students who struggle with those behaviors and still wish to attend. Staff and faculty are friendly and accessible, attending community events and eating meals with the students. Students are expected to participate in ministry every semester, either in a church, the community, or at the college itself. Church attendance is expected but not monitored.

Famous quotes containing the words community and/or life:
“The people needed to be rehoused, but I feel disgusted and depressed when I see how they have done it. It did not suit the planners to think how they might deal with the community, or the individuals that made up the community. All they could think was, Sweep it away! The bureaucrats put their heads together, and if anyone had told them, A community is people, they would not have known what they were on about.”
—May Hobbs (b. 1938)
“The deadly monotony of Christian country life where there are no beggars to feed, no drunkards to credit, which are among the moral duties of Christians in cities, leads as naturally to the outvent of what Methodists call revivals as did the backslidings of the people in those days.”
—Corra May Harris (18691935)
