Gone With The Wind in The Vatican

Gone with the Wind in the Vatican (Italian: Via col Vento in Vaticano) is a controversial book that was published in 1999, about nepotism, homosexual scandals, corruption, and "clientism" within Vatican City, written under the pseudonym I Millenari ("The Millenarians"), a possible anagram of "Marinelli".

The book, published by Kaos Edizione of Milan, sold 100,000 copies in its first three weeks alone and went out of print within the year, before foreign-language editions became available.

Famous quotes containing the word wind:

... some of my people could have been left [in Africa] and are living there. And I can’t understand them and they don’t know me and I don’t know them because all we had was taken away from us. And I became kind of angry; I felt the anger of why this had to happen to us. We were so stripped and robbed of our background, we wind up with nothing.
    Fannie Lou Hamer (1917–1977)
