The latest version of GOM Player supports the following subtitle formats:
- Unicode Text Subtitles
- SAMI (smi)
- SubRipText (srt), MicroDVD (sub), SMIL/RealText
- SubStation Alpha (ssa), Advanced SubStation Alpha (ass)
- VOBsub (sub/idx)
- Embedded subtitles of ASF, MKV, OGM
