Pre-wrestling Musical Career

By 1999, Shadow was an opening act for artists like Pink. In 2000, Futuristic Records released her single "Kiss," a song she wrote and recorded in English, French, and Spanish. Within weeks, the song became runaway success in the American Midwest, remaining in the Top 10 for over 17 weeks. Total Nonstop Action Wrestling has used several of Goldy Locks' songs, most notably the tracks "Take It Out On You" for Alissa Flash, "Dodging Bullets" for Trinity, "Broken" for Tara, "Hands Of Wicked" for Winter and "The Man In Me" for TNA Entertainment President Dixie Carter.

Famous quotes containing the words musical and/or career:

Fifty million Frenchmen can’t be wrong.
    —Anonymous. Popular saying.

Dating from World War I—when it was used by U.S. soldiers—or before, the saying was associated with nightclub hostess Texas Quinan in the 1920s. It was the title of a song recorded by Sophie Tucker in 1927, and of a Cole Porter musical in 1929.

Whether lawyer, politician or executive, the American who knows what’s good for his career seeks an institutional rather than an individual identity. He becomes the man from NBC or IBM. The institutional imprint furnishes him with pension, meaning, proofs of existence. A man without a company name is a man without a country.
    Lewis H. Lapham (b. 1935)
