Going Coastal is a national EPA Environmental Quality Award-winning nonprofit grassroots organization formed in 2003 with the mission of connecting people and coastal resources. Programs are designed to raise awareness of the coast's immense value as a natural, cultural, historical, and recreational resource. Through the efforts of its volunteers and information initiatives they inspire adults and children to appreciate, enjoy and preserve it.
