God Hates Us All is the ninth studio album by American thrash metal band Slayer. Released on September 11, 2001, the album received positive critical reviews, although it entered the Billboard 200 at number 28. It was recorded in three months at The Warehouse Studio in Canada, and includes the Grammy Award-nominated "Disciple". The album is the band's last to feature drummer Paul Bostaph. Guitarist Kerry King wrote the majority of the lyrics, taking a different approach from earlier recordings by exploring topics such as religion, murder, revenge and self-control.

Famous quotes containing the word hates:
“Oh, he’s a sick man, frustrated. Sick in his mind, sick in his soul, if he has one. He hates everybody that has anything that he can’t have. Hates us mostly, I guess.”
—Frances Goodrich (1891–1984)
