Rice was married to The Real Housewives of Miami cast member Cristy Rice, but the couple divorced.
Rice's son, Glen Rice, Jr. (born January 1, 1991), was a guard for Georgia Tech. Rice Jr previously played high school basketball at Walton High School and with the Georgia Stars in the AAU. He wore #41, the same number his father wore in college and as a pro. Georgia Tech was one of three schools the 6'4" shooting guard had narrowed his choices down to, along with Miami and Florida State.
