Gimnasia Y Esgrima de Jujuy

Club Atlético Gimnasia y Esgrima (usually known as Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy) is an Argentine sports club based in San Salvador, Jujuy Province. The club was founded in 1931 and is best known for its professional football (soccer) team, currently playing in the Primera B Nacional, the second major league in Argentine Football.

The team is one of the most important football clubs in the North-West region of Argentina. It played most of the time in the Argentine second division, although has also played at the highest level of Argentine football in some occasions.

El Lobo Jujeño obtained the 1993–94 Nacional B (second division) championship, and played in first division until their relegation in 2000. After a good 2004–2005 season, in which the club won the Primera B Nacional Clausura 2005 tournament, the team returned to the Argentine Primera, but was relegated after the 2008–09 season.
