Personal Life and Family
Seldes had a fling with the American journalist, Jane Anderson, from early 1918 to late 1919. They eventually drifted apart, and he married Alice Wadhams Hall, an upper class Episcopalian, in Paris in 1924. The actress Marian Seldes, is their daughter.
