- Avant-garde guitarist Buckethead was highly influenced by the series, naming two releases Giant Robot (1994 and 1996) as well as a section of his debut album Bucketheadland (1992). He also is known to perform the theme from Johnny Sokko And His Flying Robot at his live shows. A recording can be found on the Praxis release Zurich (2005).
