History
GfK NOP was formed in 2005 when NOP World was acquired by the German research group GfK from United Business Media and merged with UK-based GfK Martin Hamblin. Gfk's Mystery Shopping and Field Marketing department is based in their Oxford Office.
The company claims to have the first accurate UK video games chart, starting with one published in C+VG and the Daily Mirror in March 1984.
