The German Entomological Institute (German: Deutsches Entomologisches Institut, or DEI) is a German entomological society devoted to the study of insects. Founded in 1886, the society has an extensive library and insect collections. Since 2009 the DEI is part of the Senckenberg Gesellschaft für Naturforschung.
